Your girlfriend probably feels threatened somehow. Maybe this girl is especially attractive or she knows her/gets some vibe that you don't. If you value her more go home and talk it out once you're less drunk responsibly. If you value that kind of relationship you'll probably have more chances in the future. I've been trying to get my bachelors degree for about 20 years now. I'm more serious about it these days and work is paying for it, so it doesn't make sense to pass on free courses! Sometimes it feels like I will never get it. At the rate I'm taking classes it's going to be about 4-5 more years.

I got my bachelor's 5 years ago at the ripe age of 21. I decided to go back for a master's in another field. Thus I have to do a qualifying year. I think it's a good field (economics) but the courses are so hard I don't think I will make high enough grades to enter next year. I am glad I've come back though there is only one way to know wether the field is for you and that's try it out.

Hah, well I've always had a strong dislike for school... A combination of good luck and wits have somehow always had me land on my feet. Every time I would get really ramped up in school, I'd get asked to come work somewhere I couldn't turn down, so here I am at 42 and still haven't finished!!
